WOMAN ARRESTED FOR MALTREATING HOUSEMAID AT SABO

After receiving heavy curses from market women at the popular sabo market , Ogbomosho , Mrs Ajanaku , popularly called Iya Alaaje was also arrested by the police for allegedly maltreating her housemaid with hot iron . The housemaid , a female orphan who have been with Iya Alaje since age 6, was found with patterns and scars on her face yesterday and neighbors took her to the hospital for treatment Iya Alaje reportedly left the poor girl at home after pressing her face and body with hot iron without food to eat. After the poor girl narrated her ordeal , sympathizers stormed Iya Alaje's shop at Sabo and dragged her out She said ' Don't pity this young girl , she's evil as she's small . I gave her 200 naira to get me Airtel airtime and she lost the money and I punished her' (translated from Yoruba to English) When the mob heard this , they began to cursed her and some people even called for police arrest.
