Few hours after the PDP governorship aspirant for
Oyo state , Seyi Makinde , was denied from speaking at the two popular radio stations in Ogbomosho , he led his supporters and delegates into the troubled Campus of LAUTECH to continue his campaign for the March 9 Governorship election
The campaign which had the supports of students and many supporters from the heart of Ogbomosho , was held at the popular 1200LT and got almost half of the lecture theatre filled up .
In his statement , he advised the student to vote for the People Democratic Party for the progress of the
of the institution and Ogbomosho at large . He also gave his word to review the review the tuition fee of the students which was increased for smooth running of the school.
Few hours after the campaign , the school management reacts by warning the students not to entertain any political rally or activity in the school campus . The full text reads below ;
This is to inform all members of staff and students that no political rally or activity is allowed on the University campus.
Any staff member or student found to be involved in political activity on campus will be sanctioned accordingly.
