IPPIS: See The Salaries Of Nigerian Lecturers From Graduate Assistant To Professor

It is no more news that the Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) have been in dispute over the government’s decision to make universities embrace the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System.

The Federal Government had previously withheld the lecturers’ salaries over their refusal to register in the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System.

The union, among other issues, embarked on an indefinite strike, arguing that the implementation of the IPPIS was against the FG-ASUU 2009 agreement.

However, the IPPIS Secretariat Department under the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation has released the breakdown of IPPIS Salary payment based on the new  minimum wages consequential adjustment where a graduate assistant earn about 99k monthly excluding Gross deduction , and a Professor earn about 1000$ (#342k) monthly

The Federal Government has also warned that anyone who fails to register for the IPPIS by October 31 would not be paid.
